Werewolf Christmas. Two words that fill me with hope and envy

I have plans to rebrand every holiday. I just need to pass a low or two.

Damn, you are in the place where Halloween began! But I forgive you because of this banger line: "But beyond obvious visual cues (Mets hat, thousand-yard stare, negritude), I don’t have the acting chops to hide the cheeseburger in my voice." 🤌🏻

We need to bring back Devil's Night but focus on humorously vandalizing political signs, especially this year.

Thank you for the mercy (and thumbs up). For what it’s worth, election signs seem to have a fruit fly lifespan this round. Though I’d prefer more sharpie edits.

Poll question: Global Secret Santa would be fun, but there's no way I'm passing up the chance to vaporize Substack management.

Harder question: Seems like the spirit of Labor Day might have been forgotten, what with our extreme income inequality, obsession with capital, and valorization of the Second Gilded Age.

We need to exorcise Horatio Alger from the national spirit if we're ever going to even imitate sanity.

I second Labor Day as a holiday that deserves better. It is a holiday for the upper and middle classes, while the hourly wage laborers are stuck selling us groceries, gas, and discount furniture. No. No more. Shut everything down. The only people working on labor day should be medical staff and firefighters. I won't say cops, because they don't work everyday.

It's a poor sign that our labor recognition holiday feels like a prank.

I love it when you write about your everyday life. It’s so funny!

Thank you! Maybe I'll humanize my approach a bit more. Add some peace to the war journal.

Also I am so with you on wedding drunks especially when they are making toasts.

Administrative Assistants should get a full week of holiday. It usually takes about that long for the boss to realize they forgot without the AA reminding them to remember. 🙄
