I myself just finished re-reading Gulliver's Travels. Favorite scene: Lemuel easily sinks the enemy armada; Lilliputian admiral wants him killed for stealing the limelight.
Also, the NYT omitted Everything Abridged from 100 Noted 2022 Books. I belittled them in a letter to the editor, though no date on its publication.
